before shift end and helped row – power hour. So we could get
another 100! Did some physical damage 2 muscles, hands etc. |

Wind turns to Northerly. Too
strong to fight. Ran with it. Dolphins glided by. Scott rowing, Brett sleeping. Wind still Northerly D 2 Bar 1875N.M Brett reels in Dorada that had been dragged behind for a couple hours without anyone noticing. Fish had no fight left. Ate it with rice and garlic. Bath – Scott dropped soap- had to
ninja quick think and rescue dive 4 it. Sea started to heap upon itself. 2 different swells operating. Northerly (large) and East/ Northeast. Swell really started to get big – lifejacket on - no heroes alive on La Mar. Only dead ones. |

D 2 Bar 1825N.M Bob still flying by every hour or so. Interesting day – More conducive to our type of water experience, big waves- ‘surfable’. Started with 3 different swells – large (N) Mid (N,NE) Mid (E) Using Northeasterly swell till the two mid sized swells combined. Still not really uniform. But only evidence of them. Overcast, gentle breeze. Sunny, hot. Cumulus clouds build up. Potential Nimbus developing. Wind pretty much Northeast. End Day 16 52N.M logged N 22° 49.110’ W 029° 45.181’ D 2 Bar 1798N.M |

Brett was sleeping head 2 stern with
window open. Got sea water dunking. Time to rinse…. Retired the ‘tumour’. (Camping air mattress that had a blow out of the seams making a huge bubble) forced it into the bow cabin as extra floatation for ‘justin’…just in case. End day 18 66 N.M logged N 21° 26.169’ W 031° 49.397’ D 2 Bar 1667N.M |

phantom yacht in darkness. Blew fog horn twice. Saw torchlight in
sails. No response. Tried calling on channel 16 “White sailing
yacht, white sailing yacht; “This is rowing boat Against All Odds”… |
