Scott finished
shift in a sea of chop which you could not row in. oars keep getting
caught by waves. We decided to both sleep to catch up a little on
shut eye, letting the boat just drift. |

Swam and checked hull. Had
Caribbean bath. Checked all hatches 4 water. Only the repaired round hatches had 2-3 inches of water. Bob’s mate flew by. Much darker plumage indicating sex as being male. Bob turned out to be Mrs Bob. We brought her out and after couple of minutes he flew off. Incredible feeling, to see Bob fly off after spending more or less 20hrs with us. Scott preparing beans and rice, rod
zinged. Dorada with 3 others swimming with it. Got close to boat –
line broke. Bob flew by 2 thank us. Styling by just above waves again. Only thing we have left is the experience of such a close encounter and her defecation. She keeps checking on our progress every couple hours which is amazing company when there is nothing else. End Day 12 51N.M logged N 24° 03.896’ W 026° 05.569’ D 2 Bar 2011N.M |

GPS turned off. When turned it on
again there was no satellites reading our position. -Considered navigational techniques without GPS- Simply, wherever sun sets is direction 2 steer. Fish on! Before we could get rod out of holder, sudden tug – snap! Big fish! Dragging Weed – no assistance from anything else. Average speed – 2 knots. |

Presence of
‘The Almighty’ – Scott was rowing when he felt a presence. Looking
around but saw nothing until he looked up. The moon was directly
overhead with a moisture ring around it. Around the moisture ring
stratus clouds formed the shape of an eye. The giant eye took up the
entire sky and made everything else very small. God was there and He
was watching over us. |
