"Les Ecrans de l'Aventure"
25 - 27 November 2010

The 19th edition of Dijon International Adventure Film Festival, officially called "Les Ecrans de l'Aventure" will take place from 25 to 27 November 2010 in Burgundy, France.

Our Festival is a showcase for documentary films that relate to any kind of adventure: polar expeditions, mountaineering, round the world sailing races, ballooning, underwater exploration, speleology, portraits of adventurers, scientific expeditions... and we try to select the finest recently-produced documentaries (2008 to 2010, running time : 15 to 60 minutes).

Admittance is free of charge.

Deadline for preselection is August 15th.
(Could be extended if you're finishing a new film).

The festival prize:

5 prizes are awarded to films
- "Toison d'Or" - Grand Prize for Best Film (5 000 ˆ granted by the Côte d’Or Conseil General)
- Jury's Special Prize
- Jean-Marc Boivin Prize
- Best Young Director
- Dijon's Young Jury Prize (sponsored by Dijon’s Lib. de L’U. bookshop)

1 prize is awarded to a book
- "Toison d’Or" for the adventure book

3 prizes are awarded to a career
- Toison d’Or" for the adventurer of the year
- Peter Bird/SPB Trophy (10 000 ˆ granted by SPB)
- Alain Bombard Prize

The Dijon International Adventure Film Festival attracts more and more visitors, 10.000 at last October's edition with the public, professionals and adventurers all mingling together.
