John Williams. 'Atlantic Warrior'

Row across the Indian Ocean - from Fremantle, WA. to Rodriguez Island, Republic of Mauritius

From Jan Williams (wife of John)
Rodriguez, 4.45GMT July 10th 2007

"When I arrived here I spoke to the Coast Guard and told them John was 45 miles North of the Island. I was asked if I thought John needed to be rescued and I told them ''no, he did not need to be rescued he just needed a tow in''.
I have arranged for a local boat to go and locate John and give him tow back to the island. I made this decision as he continued to be pushed North making landing on the Island unassisted impossible for John.
The Captain of 50 foot vessel ''the Black Marlin'' is now on his way to pick up John and will tow him in, I am so excited, I just can't wait to see him ''
