| Boat designed by Rowsell&Morrison (Exmouth, UK) for the first transatlantic rowing race in 1997. Built out of marine plywood with epoxy cover. Self-righting. Length - 23 feet (7m), width - 6 feet (1.8m); weight unladen - approx. 500 pounds (225kl). She entered the race as "Walter Scott&Partners", but due to certain obsticles, in a day returned back. In 2002 took part in the Great River Race (on the Thames) and became the first ocean rowboat to win this most popular international regatta. |
