A disabled oarsman has rowed into the record
books, becoming the first person with cerebral palsy to cross the
Atlantic unaided.
Stuart Boreham, from Long Compton, Warwickshire, arrived in Port St
Charles, Barbados, yesterday afternoon after spending four months at
sea.
He crossed the finishing line off the island’s north coast shortly
before midnight on Wednesday and spent the night moored offshore.
