Ocean Pedal/Rowing Boat for sale

Atlantic Song was built in 2007 by Cornishmen Paul Harris (Electrical engineer) and Steve Gardner from a Woodvale pairs timber kit. It has undertaken two Atlantic crossings 2007 (55 days) and 2009 (77 days) and has been in storage for much of the time since.

In 2011/12, the boat was surveyed by Rossiter Yachts and completely refurbished to make it ready for another crossing. This included a makeover for the electrics and repainting the entire boat, including copper coating the hull. A dagger board and lifting rudder blade were also fitted these are interchangeable and a spare blade is also included.

If anyone is keen to be one of the very few to pedal an ocean, the kit includes a well-engineered, geared, retractable, pedal drive leg with a carbon-fibre propeller. There is also a complete spare drive assembly.

Otherwise, returning Atlantic Song to a rowing boat would cost around £1000.

Atlantic Song is a high quality boat and competitively priced.
