Теодор Резвой награжден орденом "За мужество"
КИЕВ, 20 февраля - Президент Украины Леонид Кучма своим указом наградил орденом "За мужество" 3-й степени Теодора Резвого из Одессы, сообщили в управлении информации и связей с общественностью администрации президента. Как передает УНИАН, тем самым отмечены его мужество и героизм, проявленные во время осуществления одиночного плавания на лодке через Атлантику. В прошлом году первый представитель Украины - одессит Теодор Резвой - пересек Атлантический океан один на весельной лодке. Переход продолжался 68 суток - с 12 октября по 18 декабря. Общая протяженность маршрута составила 2934 мили. За более 100 лет истории океанской гребли только 19 человек, представители 4 стран, смогли пересечь океан на веслах.

Theodore Rezvoy is decorated with an Order “For Courage”
Kiev, Feb.20th – President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma by his presidential decree awarded Theodore Rezvoy from Odessa with an Order “For Courage”, - the Department of Information and Public Relations of Presidential administration informs. As reported by UNIAN, thus there were acknowledged [recognized] his courage and heroism shown through his solo row across the Atlantic Last year the first representative of Ukraine, native of Odessa Theodore Rezvoy, crossed the Atlantic ocean single-handedly in a rowing boat. The row lasted for 68 days – from the 12th of October till the 18th of December. Total distance covered – 2934 miles. Through the 100-year’s History of Ocean Rowing there were only 19 people, representatives of 4 countries, who succeeded in crossing the oceans of the world on oars solo.
