On the 21st of January 2005 a twenty-four feet long, second hand
plywood boat left the marina in San Sebastian de La Gomera in the
Canary Isles. Onboard was Tiny Little, a forty-nine year old
publican from Norwich England. His goal was to row the boat all the
way to Antigua in the Caribbean. The journey was not without
incident. The boat was very nearly rammed by a cargo ship,
overwhelmed many times by waves and eventually taken hundreds
of miles off course by racing ocean currents.
The book is
Tiny's personal daily diary of the 3479 mile odyssey, written for
family, friends and anyone interested.
