3000 miles 70+ days at sea from the Canaries to Martinique

Peggy Bouchet will need to take into account the trade winds and their
linked currents.

The departure is scheduled early March from Canary Islands and the arrival
should be approximately 70 days later in the West Indies. The distance to be
covered is 3000 nautical miles (roughly 5500 Km).

During this season, the trade winds will normally provide the best weather
conditions of the year, with a following sea, and winds averaging 15 to 20
knots.
